Auriculotherapy uses electricity to diagnose and treat pain, nausea, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and any number of conditions that children face. Auriculotherapy is the perfect alternative to giving children unnecessary medications. The procedure is painless. Children may feel a tiny sensation in the ear where the point is being treated. This is usually for a second or two and then the sensation goes away. If it feels slightly uncomfortable the practitioner can decrease the intensity to where the child does not feel it.
